PPACA Is Here To Stay.  The Supreme Court of the United States announced this morning that the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is constitutional and will be largely upheld.  The Justices voted 5 to 4 to uphold the law’s individual mandate provision and therefore the majority of the law.  The decision did significantly restrict one major portion of the law: the expansion of Medicaid. The ruling gives states some flexibility not to expand their Medicaid programs, without paying the same financial penalties that the law called for.  For a full report please click hereYour team at JFA will continue to lead you through the next steps in complying with Health Care Reform and will keep you informed with updates.
