Jaeger & Flynn Associates, Inc., has presented a check for $22,376 from the company’s 13th annual “Grip It ‘N Rip It” Charity Golf Tournament held on Friday, June 3, at the Hiland Park Country Club in Queensbury, to this year’s beneficiary, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Northeast New York. The proceeds from this year’s event will assist the organization’s local chapter in granting wishes for two children in the Glens Falls area who are battling life threatening illnesses.

Tom Flynn, JFA President and CEO, Kurt Jaeger, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, and Pamela Allers, Agency Partner and Golf Committee Chairwoman, presented a check to Bill Trigg, CEO of Make-A-Wish, and Kirsten Broschinsky, Director of Annual Giving, in a ceremony at Jaeger & Flynn’s Clifton Park offices on Wednesday, August 3.

“It’s a great feeling to know that we have been able to help Make-A-Wish and their mission in such a substantial way,” said Tom Flynn, the firm’s President and CEO. “They do an incredible job for these kids.”

Make-A-Wish chapter CEO Bill Trigg expressed gratitude from the organization, and the families they serve. “We appreciate the support for the Make-A-Wish mission through this great event, helping to grant wishes to local kids facing life-threatening medical conditions.”

More than 40 different companies from across the Capital Region helped Jaeger & Flynn in their sponsorship effort to assist the local Make-A-Wish chapter. Over 125 golfers from area companies played in the tournament that included an 18 hole round and various special events.

Jaeger & Flynn’s annual tournament supports a different Capital Region charity each year, with this year’s donation increasing JFA’s total contribution to over $225,000 in 13 years.
